Saturday was a hit! Loki was blown away by he’s party and we couldn’t have had a better day. This year we did a Spiderman party. There was Spiderman stuff all over the house for about 2 months lol, but it was worth it. We had a few friends from Loki’s pre-school come to the party and Spiderman made a grand entrance. My husband said it was worth having another party just to see the look on Loki’s face when Spiderman came out.
We kept most of the decorations simple, but they were super effective. We had a big Spiderman poster, a happy birthday sign, streamers and a cardboard city landscape. A number 3 balloon and I used Loki’s Spiderman toys on the desert table.
Food wise we did cake, cupcakes, chocolate crackles, fruit plate, cookies, spicy chicken wings, mini pies and sausage rolls and sandwiches. The deserts were a hit and so was the fruit plate. I was really happy that the food got eaten and we weren’t left with heaps of leftovers.
To my dear boy Loki, we love you so much. You make our family complete and we are so blessed to have you and your sister in our lives. Each day you make us smile (and some times cry lol) but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We love you always and will be your cheering squad in the years to come. We hope you had a great 3rd birthday baby boy with lots more to come. Love you to infinity and beyond.
