I love good, easy to cook meals that my kids eat and this is a favorite in our house!
This receipt has kind of evolved as I originally started with broccoli and cheese pasta. The kids mainly just ate the pasta with cheese lol. I decided that we needed a little more veggies and some meat to really make the dish a full meal and not have the kids coming to me in half and hour saying they were hungry! So more veggies and chicken it was.
To make this you’ll need:
500 grams chicken beasts
2-3 pasta of your choice. (We like spirals the best)
2 cups veggies (frozen or fresh)
2 cups broccoli
Oil/Salt and pepper
Cube chicken, season and fry in pan. While the chicken is cooking boil the water to cook your pasta.
Cook pasta as per instructions on packet. As your pasta cooks in the last 5 minutes of cooking add your veggies. Finish cooking the chicken, remove from heat and set aside. Once the pasta and veggies are cooked, drain the water and return to the pot. Mix in chicken and add cheese. You can add the cheese once you have served the dish into bowls, but I like the cheese melted all the way through.
